All children in Key Stage Two, in line with the National Curriculum are required to learn a modern foreign language. At Old Buckenham Primary School we learn French from Year Three to Six, using the Rigolo Scheme of Work as in Norfolk French is the modern foreign language taught in Year 7.  Our aim is to promote a love of language learning and encourage the children to make connections between French, English and other languages they know.

Progression through the Rigolo Scheme of Work is laid out here: French progression
