Dear Parents,

Welcome back after half term. I hope you are all well, considering the current circumstances. I would like to apologise for my absence prior to the half term break, but I am looking forward to a new and exciting term. It was lovely to speak with so many of you at our parents evening, and although it was not conducted in the most ideal way, I am hoping that you all feel that you have got to know me a little more.

As this half term is so packed, it would be greatly appreciated if you could continue to support your child’s learning at home. Underneath I have attached the spelling lists for the next 6 weeks. These will also be stapled into your child’s reading record (continue to bring in on Thursdays) and their scores will be updated weekly. As of the 2nd November, we started learning the first weeks spellings and these will be tested on Monday. Each Monday your child will be tested on their weekly spellings and then introduced to the next set of spellings.

Please continue to regularly use spelling shed and timestable Rockstars as this makes a huge difference to their learning.

If you have any other questions for me, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Miss Hunt.

Please note that PE for Y3 takes place on Wednesday afternoons. Please ensure your child comes to school in their PE kits, along with a jumper for the colder weather as we will be doing our lessons outside when possible.

Forest school will also be taking place on Tuesday afternoons, therefore children should be coming into school wearing suitable bottoms, school tops and bring wellies to change into.

If you have any questions that you would like to discuss with me, please contact me via Mrs Kennett in the office and I will get back to you at the earliest opportunity.

Thank you for all of your support.
